Can I bring other family members?

Space is limited but we never mind having an extra body in class so long as we have the room.

Is it okay if I am not musical?

Everyone is musical! You may have been told you are not but you are. This class is about the joy of music not the structure.

How often do you repeat a collection?

We offer 9 different collections at A Minor Melody. There's a different collection every semester and it takes 3 years to go over the entire catalog.

What if I miss a class?

Make up classes are available by coordinating with your instructor.

What's a mixed age class?

Accepted Answer

Mixed age classes are great for everyone. When a young child sees an older child participating it encourages the younger child to be more involved. Older children get the feeling of responsibility and want to set good examples for their younger friends. Research shows that mixed age classes can be very beneficial in early stages of development.

Are there babies only classes?

We have a babies only class available for children 0-8 months. Your child must be younger than 8 months at time of registration in order to join our babies only class.

How do I sign up?

You can register online or on the same day you attend a trail class. A Minor Melody accepts cash, checks, and credit cards.

How much does it cost?

The first child is $225.00, each addtional child is $100.00. Infants under 8 months are free when a sibling signs up.

Is there a referral credit?

Receive a Family & Friends credit of $25 when another family signs up to the same semester. Coupon is only valid when either one or both families are new registrants to A Minor Melody. Family & Friends discount is only available one time per group. Family & Friends discount may be applied again if you sign up with a new family on another semester. No more than one Family & Friends discount may be applied per semester. Credit applies to following semester.
